Some other registered agent services simply email service of process and other legal documents to you instead of providing document access and storage through an online portal.

First and foremost, your documents are much safer stored in an online portal. Email is much more vulnerable to being hacked or accessed by people who aren’t you.

Additionally, it’s a lot easier to lose or accidentally erase an important email in a crowded inbox than it is in an online portal.

There are limits to the size of document you can attach to an email, so if you receive a legal doc that’s long or contains images that increase the file size, a registered agent that uses email will require you to come and pick up the document or to pay to have it physically forwarded to you.

Thanks to our portal, we can upload any document, regardless of size. We’ll physically forward a legal document to you if it contains a check or an item that can’t be scanned (like a thumb drive), and in that case, we’ll do it for free.
